Bonair Winery, located in Zillah Washington, is looking for a harvest intern for the 2018 vintage. This position is great for someone who already has a few vintages under their belt as you will be responsible for all aspects of winemaking, including but not limited to fermentation management, basic lab work, sanitation (lots of it), vineyard picking decisions, etc.
We process around 150 tons of both reds and whites, and do some custom crush work as well. Great opportunity to work with a ton of different varietals and winemaking styles. You must be comfortable working on your own, follow directions well, and love terrible 80s music.
Forklift experience is awesome, but will teach you if need be. Must have a means of transportation as well. Experience is great, but will take on someone without any if the fit is right.
This is a low stress gig which can offer a lot in terms of learning experience. The job will start beginning to mid-august depending on how the season progresses, and will last the duration of harvest, which is typically around the beginning of November.
