We are a boutique winery estates where we are passionate about hospitality, character, and experience. We are working towards growing all sales channels all while dedicated to providing wine consumers with an exceptionally boutique vibe and guest-centric touch. As a dynamic, creative, and growing brand, we are seeking a Part-time Tasting Room Sales & Wine Club Associate to join our team. Customer service is central in our culture, focusing on both our external and internal customers.

As a Tasting Room & Hospitality Coordinator Associate, you are responsible for providing the best possible experience for guests and members by developing relationships that promote sales and brand loyalty. This position is the customer service champion in creating the perfect balance of education and good times. This position is primarily responsible for creating a memorable customer experience in the Tasting Room to help grow and fulfill orders with the wine club program. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Director and the Tasting Room. This dynamic position is instrumental in achieving targeted sales and membership growth for existing and future wine club members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following.

Maintain the winery image to reinforce the standards of the brand.
Pouring samples of wine
Encouraging customers to purchase brand wines and join the Wine Club.
Ensure orders are processed accurately and timely
Contact club members with missed delivery attempts to reduce the return rate
Contact club members with declined credit cards ASAP post batch processing
Sell wine and wine club memberships based on monthly goal
Review various inventory amounts to ensure orders are not creating outages
Handle routine sales transactions that include operating the register and accounting of daily sales
Educating guests about vineyard history and wines
Accurate use of the sales registers and software programs
Ability to follow policies and procedures.
Opening and closing procedures, which include but is not limited to, setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and all items related to the Tasting Room events
Restocking of wine and merchandise from the stock room into the Tasting Room
Maintain the aesthetics of the winery.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of facilities
Assist with special events as needed
Attend in-person or virtual strategy meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

Wine-related experience helpful and knowledge of wines and wine production
TIPS and CA Food Handler Certifications are preferred, but not required
Professional appearance and demeanor

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in an evolving environment with enthusiasm
Sufficient first-hand knowledge of wine and wine-related topics

Retail sales experience: ability to present product, up sell & cross sale.
Available to work weekends and holidays.
Professional appearance
Demonstrate initiative and willingness to work events and special projects.
Work closely with Marketing Director

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
