Pomum Cellars, an award winning premium wine producer located in Woodinville, WA is looking for passionate individuals to join our harvest team. This is a paid apprenticeship starting late August and ending mid November 2020. Although harvest work will be mostly on the production side applicants must be able to demonstrate other important tasks relating to general business management and wine sales/marketing.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Equipment Sanitation
• Wine / Juice Transfers
• Operate Crush Equipment
• Wine / Juice Additions
• Lab work
• Other Cellar Work
• Support tastings events and sales as needed
Qualifications
• Good mechanical abilities
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to work long hours and have a flexible schedule.
• Morning person. On time every time.
• Prior experience and/or enology/viticulture degree preferred
