Kevin White Winery is a boutique, artisan winery located in Woodinville, WA dedicated to crafting Rhone style wines. We are currently seeking a smart, energetic and dedicated harvest intern to join the team for the 2019 harvest season. As a harvest intern you will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of winemaking, learn from a highly motivated and passionate winemaker and work with fruit from some of the best vineyards in Washington State. 

Successful candidates have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude and are highly dependable. Previous industry education and experience is desired but not required. Candidates must be flexible to work varying shifts and weekends and must be able to work the entire harvest from approximately late August to early November. 

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
1. Assist with the crushing of all incoming fruit
2. Assist in pressing wine as fermentations complete
3. Help clean tanks, bins and maintain highly sanitized equipment
4. Punch downs of fermentations – morning/afternoon or afternoon/night shifts
5. Various aspects of winery operations during harvest including Operation of harvest equipment, Fermentation monitoring, filling barrels with wine

SKILLS
•  Passionate about winemaking
•  Organized and detail oriented, with strong multi-tasking skills
•  Flexibility to work until the job gets done during peak periods of harvest
•  Self-motivated and willing to assume additional responsibilities.
•  Able to lift 50 pounds frequently and more than 50 pounds occasionally
•  Able to stand for long periods of time on hard and sometimes slippery surfaces

This position is a paid internship and the hourly pay will depend on experience.
