Enartis USA, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Technical Winemaking Specialist who will help to support our Technical Department. The Technical Winemaking Specialist provides technical expertise in winemaking and cellar operations for Enartis USA’s technical strategy, within the Technical Department for Enartis USA. Under the coordination of the Technical Marketing Manager, this position provides technical assistance to the Sales Team and directly to clients. They work the market with the Technical Sales Representatives as needed, supporting them and collaborating with clients on trials and product application. Thereby supporting the development and creation of marketing material. The Technical Winemaking Specialist is familiar with sales and marketing strategies, as well as lab basics and equipment. They will collaborate with the Enartis USA Laboratory during trials and product support.

The Technical Winemaking Specialist will also be integrated in the Enartis Global Technical Department, and will support and collaborate with Enartis Global Marketing Team.
The Technical Winemaking Specialist will need to be located in proximity to the Enartis Lab and Offices in Windsor. The position will also need to travel, both domestically and internationally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Technical support to Sales Team and clients.
• Assist wineries with product usage, technical questions and issues, overall winemaking process.
• Set-up and monitor of trials with wineries, during harvest and year-round.
• Work on the development and promotion on new enological products.
• Active work towards the integration of enological products.
• Establish a proactive relationship with the Sales Team and communicate directly with the Strategic Lab Team.
• Support the Marketing Team with the creation of marketing material in various formats.
• Collaborate with the Technical Team on strategic projects.
• Work with the Technical Team in trainings on Enartis products and know-how, both internally and with clients.
Qualification Requirements:
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Enology or science-related field preferred. Proficiency in all levels of wine production.
• Language and Organizational Skills: Strong communication skills in verbal and written form, with technical writing experience. Able to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
• Strong team member qualities, enthusiasm, “can-do” attitude, coaching, planning and implementation. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to read and understand measurements. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors, customers, and employees of the organization.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed, involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Other Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Ability to arrange, manipulate, and access information in Word • and Excel (or Access). Able to learn new software with ease and efficiency. Exquisite attention to detail.
• Physical Demands: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time when necessary. Sufficient body dexterity to bend, stoop, reach and carry boxes of supplies, gas cylinders, equipment, and related materials. Able to lift 40 pounds. Able to work extended hours as needed.
