DMV Distributing is currently seeking an experienced Wine Sales Professional for an on/off-premises position in the Wilmington area of Delaware. DMV Distributing is a rapidly growing wine and spirits importer and wholesaler with locations in Maryland, DC, and Delaware. We represent a portfolio of highly rated offerings from wine regions around the world and a growing portfolio of high-quality spirits.

Job Description:

• Grow territory by opening new accounts (on and off-premises)
• Grow the business by maintaining and building relationships with existing customers
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Execute and maintain merchandising standards that provide maximum exposure of our brands
• Conduct wine tastings and promo events
• Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner
• Develop product knowledge in order to effectively represent our brands

 

 

 

The ideal candidate would:

• possess wine and spirits knowledge (certification preferred, not required)
• be able to lift 50 pounds, if necessary
• be 21 years of age or older
• have a valid driver’s license and operable vehicle
• be able to pass a background check (required for a solicitor’s permit)
• hold strong relationship building skills
• work toward team goals
• be solutions oriented
