Job Responsibilities
- Review/place orders with vendors. Pull movement with GE Central and Motorola gun for reference. Take an active role in maintaining/building assortment by reviewing movement reports, eliminating slow movers and selecting new products. Check Beer Lead email at least once a day for merchandising information.
- Monitor receiving and oversee stocking of Beer products based on store delivery schedule. Stock shelves by taking product from backroom, opening boxes, and stocking product in proper location on shelf by code-dating.
- Build displays by taking merchandise by flats from backroom to sales floor and lifting products from flats to displays.
- Block department every shift in am and before leaving, total 1 hour every day.
- Follow appropriate procedures to ensure Beer meets out-of-stock percentage goals, as well as shrink and inventory level goals.
- Inspect department daily to ensure proper signage, make signs/tags as needed. Test scans to ensure proper pricing.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, floor and general sales area, and follow standards to meet sanitation requirements; ensuring floors are clean and free of spills at all times.
- Maintain system for customer ¿Special Orders¿.
- Assist customers with beer purchases by providing knowledgeable recommendations and food pairing suggestions.
- Assist in the development of unique customer tasting programs. Execute an in-store sampling of beer 2x per week, one week night and one weekend afternoon.
- Prepare with Store Leader seasonal and major promotional operations; keep records of results.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of promotional operations, item movement, and ideas for improvement.
- Work with Store Leader to schedule RAMP certification and ensure all Prepared Foods staff is RAMP-certified. Review Team Member certifications to schedule retraining every two years.
- Monitor and ensure store compliance with company and Pennsylvania state laws, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure proper Café cash register procedures.
- Identify potential under-age or intoxicated individuals and deny the sale of alcohol to these individuals.
- Attend ¿in-store¿ team meetings and/or regional meetings, as required.
- Participate in on-going product and customer service training programs, as required.
- Communicate regularly with Team Leaders and Leaders.

Education and Training Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
Experience Desired: Experience in retail sales, preferably in the alcohol industry.
Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Shift 1st Shift - 6a - 3p; 2nd Shift - 2p - 10p
