Sales Marketing Consultant (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Allied Beverage Group, LLC., the leading distributor of wine, spirit and beer products in the State of New Jersey, is looking for a seasoned Sales Professional to join our Sales Team.

This position will be responsible for a territory covering Southern Jersey to include Burlington to Camden Counties. As a Sales Merchandising Consultant, you will be expected achieve sales goals and depletions for our supplier network. Responsibilities include:

1. Calling on accounts and covering routes daily.
2. Analyzing the total territory and each account to determine the priority selling and merchandising opportunities.
3. Striving to establish by brand the priority SMAC (Specific, Measurable, Attainable and Compatible) sales and merchandising opportunities.
4. Preparing and presenting professional sales presentations to the retailers.
5. Keep up-to-date on company brands and competitive brand pricing.
6. Installing point-of-sale materials within accounts while working towards ensuring our products are maintained in clean and current condition.
7. Keeping current on which items are in stock and which items are out of stock for brands in our inventory while networking with merchandise to enhance our position on the floor, shelf, window, counter and cold box.

We are looking for an individual who has established relationships with on and off premise accounts in Bergen and Hudson counties. This position will not only be responsible for building market share in existing accounts, but also prospect for new accounts to open.

Skills & Experiences

1. Must be able to hold a solicitor's permit.
2. Must have a clean driving record.
3. Must be able to lift 40 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
4. Must have good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Pocket Advantage and Diver applications.
4. Knowledge of wine and spirits in preferred.
5. Must have a desire and the ability to succeed in a dynamic and growing organization.
