District Manager- Waterbury/Litchfield Area/ and New Haven Area
Hartley & Parker Ltd., Inc. is among Connecticut’s most respected distributors of wines and spirits. We are looking for a District Manager in the Waterbury/Litchfield Area. The District Manager will lead a team of 11 sales representatives. 
The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include:
•  Achieving sales and distribution targets by effectively leading and managing the sales team
•  Objective setting, coaching, and performance review of sales representatives 
•  Developing the skills and knowledge of team members
•  Ensuring that individual and division goals are clearly communicated
•  Conducting individual team meetings and one on ones
•  Recruiting talented future team members
•  Adhering to all company policies and procedures
•  Creating a successful culture 
Requirements 
•  Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and self-motivation
•  Excellent organizational skills
•  Proven experience as a sales representative and/or manager is highly desired
•  Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in the wine & spirits industry and/or on-premise/restaurant management. Commitment to further development is mandatory.
•  Highly competitive nature, a strong will, and sound business judgement 
•  Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member
