Sales Rep DC (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Le Storie Wines is a small importing and distribution company based in Richmond, VA. We operate in Virginia and Washington DC. Our portfolio is built around small, family-owned farms that practice, Organic, Biodynamic, and/or Sustainable farming. We are currently seeking sales persons to join our Northern Va and Richmond teams. The ideal applicant will have sales experience in the chosen market and a very strong knowledge of Italy and Italian wines, French wines, wines from Oregon and California, and wine making as well as a true desire to continue to learn. Our culture is one of personal accountability and achieving our personal and professional goals. We work very hard. We also believe in creating an environment where people feel respected and valued and feel comfortable expressing themselves. The ability and desire to work as part of a team are essential. Only people with a positive attitude, great sense of humor, and a demonstrable record of successful working relationships with customers and colleagues will be considered. We would be open to a very smart, passionate person who wants to break into the industry but has no sales experience. Finding someone who shares our vision and goals is vastly more important to us than finding someone who is simply great at selling wine. We work with most of the top accounts in DC and want to build on our current successes. 

This position will be responsible taking over some of the top accounts in DC and for opening new accounts.

This is a full-time, salaried position. We offer paid time off, participation in our group insurance policy, and performance bonuses. The ability to participate in annual travel to visit the wineries is a must.
