Seven Hills Winery is a well-established, growing, fine wine producer located in the Walla Walla Valley.  We seek an individual with a strong work ethic and a real commitment to quality to fill a full-time Skilled Cellar Worker position. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Lead Cellar man and/or the Cellar master, the position has the following routine duties:

• Adhere to all production safety practices
• Sanitation of facility and equipment
• Equipment set up and operation
• Fulfill work orders
• Wine transfer, racking, and blending
• Barrel operations; preparation, racking filling, topping, cleaning, storage
• Filtration operations
• Additions to wine and juice
• Extensive safe and efficient forklift operations in cellar, crush pad and case goods
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION TRAINING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years winery cellar experience
• High School Diploma
• Strong winery equipment operating skill set
• Excellent forklift operation skills
• Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, be able to work as a team member, and a desire to develop further skills as necessary for the position
• Fluent English communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Able to carry up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, work standing up and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work any shift and overtime as needed, particularly during harvest
• Valid state driver’s license
• Final candidate will be required to successfully pass a physical, drug screen and background check.
