THE ROLE

We are seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial sales/marketing executive, based in Tampa Bay, who will manage our wine portfolio and motivate the team to achieve outstanding sales success while building lasting business relationships across the Caribbean.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals
  • Analyze industry trends and develop strategic plans to capitalize on growth opportunities
  • Conceptualize and implement marketing programs within allocated budgets
  • Analyze sales data and other statistics to support and direct the sales department
  • Prepare and monitor the fiscal forecast for the sales team
  • Facilitate and participate in training/educational sessions
  • Represent the company in industry organizations and events
  • Work closely with vendors, keeping them updated on developments with their brands

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of sales experience, including 3+ years sales management experience
  • A Bachelors degree or MBA with a focus on Marketing or International Business
  • Energetic and self motivated with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience leading a team to establish and achieve profitable sales goals
  • Ability to think strategically as well as execute the details of specific sales projects
  • Strong analytical & computer skills with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of the wine industry, domestic and international trends
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French
