The Company is hiring full and part-time experienced wine sales representatives to service the Connecticut market. The primary function will be to grow the sales of the expanding Masciarelli Wine Company Connecticut wine portfolio in designated territories. We are now seeking passionate team players willing and able to grow the business in Connecticut, both on and off premise. They would service the area by taking over some existing accounts as well as building business in the market. Candidates must have relevant experience in fine wine distribution and be equally adept at growing business with existing accounts and building new prospects. Candidates must have a deep knowledge of old world wine, a proven track record in sales and motivation to thrive in a self-structured work environment. Ideal candidates bring industry contacts and relationships beneficial to building new business.

Applicants will:
*Have at least 2 years of experience in fine wine sales AND/OR retail, restaurant or hospitality industry experience
*Be willing to do extensive cold calling within assigned area to build both retail and restaurant accounts, work with suppliers, organize wine dinners, do restaurant staff training, etc. 
*Be willing to conduct product tastings in retail locations to help support customers
*Have knowledge and a passion for wine
*Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and reside in the state per Massachusetts law
*Currently live in Connecticut
*Have a computer and computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
*Be organized, energetic and self-motivated
*Be dependable, reliable and honest
*Have a positive attitude and be a team player

Ideal applicants will:
*Have a pre-existing relationship with accounts in the territory being applied for and currently live in Connecticut
*Have a comprehensive knowledge of wine varietals

Competitive salary is commission based depending upon experience with a guarantee for the first year. Health insurance and 401K are available.
