We are currently recruiting a Logistics Order Processor who will report to the Logistics Manager. This position will facilitate all fulfillment operations for Harlan Estate, BOND, Promontory and The Mascot. Will handle all inquiries with tact and diplomacy, and will respond in a timely and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedule outbound shipments and wine transfers with FedEx, Custom Wine Services and Bay Area Express.
• Daily monitoring and evaluation of weather conditions around the world to ensure wine quality.
• Process Domestic and International orders for shipment.
• Post all shipped orders in ShipCompliant and NAV.
• Ensure all shipments are compliant with Federal, State and International regulations or restrictions.
• Establishes and maintains professional communication with vendors and employees.
• Primary contact person for all internal customer service related inquiries.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems. Processes and equipment.
• Scan wood case ID labels for DTC and DTT orders.
• Filing.
• Order office supplies.
• Process returned shipments.
• Process non-provenance wine deliveries.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs all related duties as assigned.
• Willing to work overtime and on weekends when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
• Two years of Fulfillment related experience preferred.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Experience working with ShipCompliant, NAV, Outlook and Excel.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Manage priorities and workflow while demonstrating the versatility and a willingness to work within constantly changing environment with enthusiasm.
• Work independently and as a member of various teams.
• Understand, enforce and comply with all safety requirements.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
• Stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Calculate figures and amounts.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- A percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are cool and noise level can be moderate to high.
