2018 Harvest Internship (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Revana Winery is seeking two seasonal cellar interns to join our production staff for the 2018 harvest. We are a small winemaking team, so you will be working directly with the winemaker. Those selected will be fully trained in our standard operating procedures and will participate in all aspects of winemaking, from grape to bottle. We offer an opportunity to learn the day to day skills necessary to operate in a premium winemaking facility. We work almost exclusively with high-end Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley vineyards. The ideal candidate is a team player with an eye for detail and a willingness to undertake the tasks needed for smooth operation of our facility. 

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: sanitation, vineyard sampling, running crush equipment, barrel work, pumpovers, juice/wine transfers, additions and other work as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications: 
•  Previous experience and formal education preferred but willing to train on the job
•  Able to lift 50 lbs. or more and work extended hours in a physically demanding environment
•  Able to stand for long periods of time
•  Ability to follow standard operating procedures and adhere to strict safety procedures
