Claverach Farm & Vineyards is seeking self-motivated, energetic, and knowledgeable wine sales representatives. We distribute wines from several importers and domestic producers in addition to a few wines that we make here on the farm.
This facet of our business is growing fast, and we are seeking 1-2 more reps to help us expand our presence in St. Louis, Columbia, and Kansas City.
The focus of our portfolio is on natural wines, specifically those made with organic, biodynamic, or sustainable-farming techniques. An understanding of these types of wines is a must.
Job description:
1. Solicit sales in assigned retail and on-premise accounts.
2. Identify and establish new accounts.
3. Ensure supplier distribution goals are met on a monthly basis.
4. Deliver product or other related merchandise when required.
5. Provide outstanding customer service.
Requirements:
1. Wine expertise and passion for wine.
2. Strong organizational skills.
3. High level proficiency of oral and written communication skills.
4. General computer knowledge with a focus on email, Word, and Excel.
5. At least two years of experience in beverages, sales, or hospitality.
6. Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws.
7. Ability to secure and maintain a Missouri Sales Permit in accordance with state laws.
8. Be 21 years of age or older.
Part-time or full-time positions available. Please note sales reps must not have second jobs working for establishments with retail liquor licenses.
