A small, luxury winery situated on a stunning 26-acre estate in the heart of the Rutherford AVA in Napa Valley. Under new ownership, a management team is being formed to elevate every aspect of the sales and hospitality experience.
Position
The Direct Sales Manager possesses the ability to develop a direct marketing strategy for high-end luxury wines and execute consumer programs with impeccable attention to detail. This person plays a critical role in defining a customer-centric approach to all tasks and has the desire to create memorable experiences and enduring relationships. The successful candidate brings a genuine passion for consumers and shares our company’s culture of excellence, hard work, commitment, trust, value-creation, and innovation.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
· 5+ years of proven success with DTC program management.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Thorough knowledge of appropriate phone and email etiquette.
· Able to read and interpret performance metrics.
· Team player who can play well with others and maintain focus in a fun and busy environment.
· Versatility and a willingness to work on changing priorities with enthusiasm.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
· Detail oriented with ability to manage priorities and workflow to meet deadlines.
· Professional appearance and demeanor.
· Able to relay knowledge of wines and wine production.
· Extensive experience with ecommerce and email platforms.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
This is a full-time, exempt position based in Rutherford, CA reporting to the General Manager. Compensation is based on experience, but also includes paid holidays, vacations, healthcare and 401k with match.
