Position Summary: We seek a motivated, entrepreneurial individual to contribute to our marketing strategy and initiatives for our wholly-owned French winery portfolio. The Associate Import Brand Manager collaborates with the French winery teams and the US market, and is responsible for the execution of brand strategy for the Boisset Collection Imported wine portfolio. This position works closely with the producers, sales, marketing, and communications teams to communicate the winery vision, create marketing materials and programs, and to develop and execute brand strategy in the US market. As an Import Associate Brand Manager, you will be supporting integrated marketing strategies while applying fundamental marketing skills. You will be working in an incredibly fast moving environment, and have the opportunity to make valuable contributions to the marketing team as well as the company. 


Essential Functions:

•  Contribute to the development of brand plans and marketing strategies for our import portfolio. 
•  Execute brand marketing strategy and calendars including marketing plans, national programs, partnerships, brand presentations and advertising.
•  Effectively communicate brand strategies and product information to sales team and wholesalers to improve brand awareness and increase distribution and sell-through at all levels and channels.
•  Develop marketing programs and promotions to convey brand messaging, increase brand awareness, and drive sales of our imported wine portfolio.
•  Develop and maintain brand collateral and point-of-sale material, to include sell sheets, brand presentations, brochures, displays, shelf-talkers, wearables, and more.
•  Contribute to all aspects of brand sales and marketing strategy, including public relations, three-tier sales and distribution programs, channel-specific promotional strategies, point-of-sale strategies, and event marketing opportunities.
•  Manage and create digital content for our import winery portfolio on digital media platforms.
•  Work with winery teams to enhance and improve brand image and awareness for our import brands
•  Conduct market research: Collect market and consumer behavior research on current markets and potential markets for each of the import brands to provide consumer insights as well as identify key trends to identify and create future growth opportunities.
•  Develop and maintain KPI tracking for import marketing programs and promotions including quantitative and qualitative analysis in order to measure impact and effectiveness; apply the resulting information to the development and refinement of future programs.
•  Organize winemaker travel and visits.
•  Be the liaison between the US market and the French office, providing insights into the US market while communicating the vision of Boisset’s French marketing to the US. 
•  Adhere to legal and regulatory standards in all marketing activities.


Desired Qualifications:
•  This position requires fluency in or high-level of French.
•  4-year BA/BS degree. Sales, marketing, or business background preferred. MBA a plus.
•  Thorough understanding of three tier distribution system, market dynamics and industry protocols.
•  Strong trade insight and understanding (channels, distributors, programming and incentives).
•  Eagerness and ability to foster close, mutually-beneficial relationships with critical industry partners, in order to cooperatively identify and exploit opportunities.
•  Proven success in brand management.
•  Demonstrated ability to understand complex issues and recommend action.
•  Demonstrated ability to work closely with a diverse commercial organization.
•  Ability to represent the company effectively and professionally with external parties. 
•  Experience with co-branding, cross-merchandizing and national programs.
•  Mentally flexible, with an ability to think creatively and strategically.
•  Previous experience with AMS and DI Diver a plus.
•  Willingness to travel on occasion as an ambassador at various events.

Necessary Skills: 
•  Language: Ability to speak and understand English required for all positions. This also position requires a fluency in or high-level of French.
•  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, financial reports, legal documents, and policies and procedures. Ability to write detailed reports and compile supporting data. Ability to effectively present information to management, clients, outside consultants, and other business contacts, and to facilitate meetings or training sessions as needed.
Math:
•  Ability calculate items such as discounts, commissions, simple interest, percentages, areas, circumference, and volume. Ability to understand fractions, ratios, and proportions. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
