Description:
Pennsylvania Winery seeks an energetic and experienced individual to assist Sales director with sales, distribution and marketing of wine in Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Initiate, develop sales and distribution channels for our high quality wines from both Bordeaux and Burgundy varietals
- Develop and build on our relationships with the public as well as with restaurants and others
- Assist in the preparation of an annual sales and marketing plan
- Assist in the broadening of sales and recognition via our wine tasting faclity
- Assist in special marketing events and festival participation
Qualifications:
- Experienced in sales related to wines produced by a Pennsylvania winery
- Knowledge of and passion for the fine wine category
- Ability to take the initiative in the development of sales combined with creative follow through
- Ability to work extended hours inclusive of evenings and weekends as required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Position:
- Full time position
- Valid driver’s license required
- Resides or would reside in Pennsylvania
