Wine Club Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

We’re looking for someone to manage our growing wine club. The successful candidate will balance analytical work with customer interactions and creative projects and will manage 1 direct report. Key areas of responsibility:
•  Customer service: refine, train, and enforce customer services standards
•  Analytics: intimately know and manipulate our customer data (WineDirect)
•  Oversight of the back-end processing of our wine club including data entry, troubleshooting, set up, and execution of shipments.
•  Oversight of seasonal shipment forecasting, planning and analysis
•  Creative: develop collateral material, decide how many balloons for the party, and everything in between
•  Manage: a direct report and others that don’t report to you – so up, down and all around
•  Communicate and coordinate: inside (the organization) and outside

FAQs
•  This position is based near Sonoma (Town of). We have a tasting room at Cornerstone Sonoma on Hwy 121, a Cellar on 8th Street East, a vineyard in Napa Carneros, another in Red Hills Lake County, and a global business HQ in Oakland.
•  Expect occasional nights & weekend work.
•  This is a new position for our organization.

Minimum qualifications:
•  Minimum 4 years of experience working in a wine-related, customer service environment
•  Expertise in Excel including filtering, sorting, charts, and pivot tables
•  Must have reliable transportation
•  Must be able to safely lift 45lbs

Additional Info:
•  Experience working with WineDirect (or similar CRM) a plus
•  Experience working with ShipCompliant a plus
•  Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
•  Basic/working knowledge of web design a plus
•  Intelligence and wit a major plus
