Ram's Gate Winery is looking for a Tasting Room Manager! We are looking for a dynamic leader with restaurant management experience to take our wine and food programs and experiences to the next level. This is great opportunity for an individual looking to step out of the restaurant world and still have an opportunity to excel in the hospitality industry.
Job Description
Operate the tasting room and all related areas in the safest of manner in keeping with Ram's Gate Winery standards, policies and procedures. Adhere to all local, national and industry safety codes and requirements.
Work with the Hospitality Manager to manage the reservations system, concierge and greeter team, as well as capacity and floor plan
Represent Ram's Gate Winery with the highest level of ethics and enthusiasm regardless of whether the topic or situation is related to your direct responsibilities.
Train and mentor staff.
Manage the point of sale process and system so that the guest/member experience is efficient and accurate. Also, that the system records and organizes sales the best manner possible for accounting and analysis.
Closely monitor the guest experience, making adjustments and assisting whenever necessary.
Oversee the day to day Ram's Gate Winery hospitality service including the service of wine and food for daily wine pairing "tastings", membership culinary program, private events, and cooking demonstrations/classes.
Enhance and maintain an inspired service culture among all hospitality team members.
Responsible to manage and execute all service standards, procedures and inventories adhering to Ram's Gate Winery standards.
Constantly strive to introduce creative, new enhancements to the sequence of service and operational amenities.
Integrate with service team to ensure proper delivery of wine and food items, obtaining feedback as to satisfaction and details to improve upon.
Manage the tasting room wine inventory.
Be passionate about wine, food providing excellent, personalized guest service.
