Technical Sale Representative (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Pacific Winemaking is a well established supplier of a wide range of quality products and services for winemakers of the Pacific Northwest.  From Crush pad equipment, to Oak aging, custom filtration, to Packaging equipment and supplies; we have a wide interaction with wineries across the region based on reliable, quality products and excellent customer service.

The offered full time position is perfect for a person who has an experience with wine and the winemaking process, a desire to interact with customers, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The preferred candidate has established relationships with winemakers, knowledge of wine making processes and tasting experience. Our ideal candidate is ambitious, smart-working, and self-motivated. We are looking for a serious technical sales person who understands the potential, and can use their experience, organizational and communications skills to realize that potential. 

Essential Qualifications:

- A High School diploma or equivalent work experience, with a strong grasp of oenology and winemaking practices. 

- Successful business development skills to include prospecting, proposal writing and closing of sales

- Sales experience with a technical product organization selling into the Wine Industry related services/products to small, medium and large sized companies.

- Ability to work independently as well as a team member

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Good cognitive and listening skills along with the attention to detail

- Ability to manage time and events with minimum supervision. 

- Experienced computer skills and with sales tracking tools.

- Ability to travel within the territory on a regular basis is required, including overnight travel, as needs demand. 

Compensation Structure:

-Base salary, commensurate with experience

-Bonus incentives to reach reasonable and growth sales goals
