Precept Wine is the largest privately owned wine company in the Northwest. We’re seamlessly integrated to run our own vineyards, wineries and world-class tasting rooms. Currently we are looking for the best and brightest to fill an immediate opening for Order Coordinator. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales Logistics.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for processing purchase orders and communicating with purchasing agents and sales reps
• Main customer service contact for the order desk
• Assist with all end of month shipments for sales
• Dispatching orders to freight companies as needed
• Manage high level distributor accounts as it relates to orders, inventory management and shipping
• High level of cross departmental communication with the pricing, logistics, marketing, sales and accounting
• Coordinate with sales regarding order status, shipping dates, issues, and product availability
• Oversee warehouse inventory as it relates to orders and shipping
• Solid understanding of warehouse inventory counts and run rate reporting
• Perform all inventory warehouse tie-outs for accounting
• Invoicing for all orders processed
• Maintain and communicate all wine allocations, points of display tracking, and inventory holds
• Assist Director of Sales Logistics in projects and sample sending
• Obtain additional information as necessary from different departments in the company
Skills and Requirements:
• Highly skilled in and dedicated to customer service
• Strong project management and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
• Ability to apply a common sense understand to carry out details
• Excellent organizational stills, detail oriented with attention to accuracy
• Self-starter and willingness to learn new processes and procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work independently and with team
