Wine World & Spirits in Seattle is looking for a person to join our 9 person strong team as customer fulfillment. We are located on 3601 Fremont Ave N in WA. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated and hard-working.

Available shifts might differ from week to week. Compensation depends on your experience.

As a Customer Fulfillment Specialist, you are responsible for providing an exceptional customer service experience while driving sales. By using your customer service skills, you will be asked to quickly build relationships with customers and advise them on Wine World & Spirits product portfolio based on their request needs. While this position generally focuses on order intake to fulfillment and customer service support, you may also be assigned at times to front end cashier, merchandiser/stock associate and Floor Sales duties.

K E Y   R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S

  • Intake Customer orders, verify availability and process the order.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and establishing a rapport with customers while informing them of our products and services
  • Proactively approach customers to identify their needs, providing recommendations that connect them to the right product
  • Accountable for learning and sharing Wine World & Spirits full product portfolio and providing customers with recommendations that connect them to the right product(s)
  • Drive retail sales, margin, and store metrics to specified goals
  • Identifies opportunities to drive traffic into the store through community events (weddings, parties, etc.) and communicates efforts to the Store Manager
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Knowledgeable on all current sales, promotions, and campaigns as well as all pricing and signage
  • Maintain store visual presentation according to company merchandising guidelines
  • Perform merchandiser/stock associate functions through replenishment, following receiving and merchandising guidelines and pricing/signing strategies; communicate any inventory issues/concerns to leadership
  • Perform cashier functions and adhere to minor policy while completing customer transactions
  • Perform special orders functions by assisting in ordering merchandise as directed by Store and/or Assistant Store Managers
  • Maintain store safety standards
  • Ensures company standards are met for store and associate appearance at all times
  • Ownership of store maintenance to ensure cleanliness and organization at all times
  • Maintain a DRUG FREE work environment

J O B   R E Q U I R E M E N T S

Minimum Experience, Skills and Education:

1.        21 years of age or older

2.        1 year as a store associate or customer service representative (including greeting customers, building relationships, assisting in locating/selecting/selling product, and identifying/resolving customer issues)

3.        Prior experience in a team environment requiring professional and effective communication skills

4.        Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, which may also depend on your preference for part-time or full-time hours

5.        Ability to use technology applicable to the position and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities

6.        Ability to earn and maintain a MAST Class 12 Mixologist Permit (must obtain within 2 weeks of hire)

7.        Desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and services

8.        High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience, Skills and Education:

1.        Experience in a Wine, Beer, Spirits retail sales environment

2.        Handling multiple projects/tasks at a time and meeting deadlines

3.        History of willingly assisting others and acting as a team player

4.        Strong interpersonal skills necessary for establishing customer and team relationships

5.        Ability to demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude and demeanor

P H Y S I C A L   R E Q U I R E M E N T S   (with or without accommodations)

  • Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 10-12 hours a day
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
