Associate Brand Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Position Summary
Precept Wine is searching for a dynamic Associate Brand Manager to work with our passionate team and innovative portfolio of brands. The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for the development of strategic initiatives driven by new innovation which deliver on Precept’s growth and profit objectives. Additionally, the Associate Brand Manager will develop, create, and implement brand positioning and programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•  Develop and execute the strategic planning process among multiple nationally distributed wine brands
•  Partner with multiple cross-functional teams (sales, production, winemaking, design, etc.) to create brands and provide strategic input towards product development
•  Analyze market, channel and category trends/opportunities and develop strategic performance enhancing recommendations
•  Determine brand focus areas through competitive set research and data, i.e. AC Nielsen, industry studies and trade publications
•  Monitor brand performance and identify new growth opportunities 
•  Present annual brand plans, line extensions and launch strategies through clear and consistent communication
•  Reviewing and managing production forecasts, inventory, pricing, COGS and GP with Finance and Sales team
•  Analyzing effectiveness of pricing, programs and brand performance to present and share with key executive stakeholders
•  Developing and managing supporting marketing programs and tools, including robust calendar of activities, displays and collateral, point-of-sale and brand standards
•  Managing key brand deliverables and digital assets, including package development, selling tools, technical specifications and vintage specific information
•  Managing and developing cross-promotional partner relationships and outside vendors in line with brand objectives
•  Developing and managing budgets to effectively and efficiently execute key brand strategies
•  Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and company policies and procedures
•  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
•  3+ years marketing experience 
•  Bachelor’s degree 
•  Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, DropBox, and social channels.

•  Strong project management skills, including the ability to take multiple projects from concept to execution, accompanied by the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
•  Outstanding communication skills, including formal presentations and one-on-one communication.
•  Creative and strategic thinker who brings fresh ideas, new perspectives, and a wealth of enthusiasm.
•  Proven ability and experience with branding and marketing. 
•  Passion for wine and the wine/food experience.

Physical Requirements
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
•  Acceptable/insurable driving record.
•  Available to work weekdays, weekends, evenings as required by events and business travel. 
•  Ability to travel, including overnight stays and air travel.
•  Ability to drive self and others to various location.
