Harvest Moon Winery is a small family winery in the heart of the Russian River Valley focusing on elegant- style Zinfandels. We also produce small lots of Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other dry reds. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented person with a passion for wine and hospitality. We place a high priority on customer service and strive for individuals that are articulate, self-motivated, hospitality oriented, willing to learn, and professional with an emphasis on service that exceeds expectations at every point of contact. This is a weekend sales position offering a premium wage for premium sales performance. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide guests with an educational, memorable and quality experience. Describe wines, winemaking techniques and winery history.
• Effectively use customer service and sales skills to meet sales objectives and wine club goals.
• Perform basic Tasting Room duties; maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
• Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions, assigning discounts, and updating guest information.
• Assist with hospitality, special events and private tastings. 
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times in the Tasting Room
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Winery tasting room experience required.
• Able to work independently and to handle multiple groups at one time, work in a fast paced environment, and able to multi-task.
• Strong computer aptitude with experience Word and Excel. 
• Ability to communicate with our guests in a confident and knowledgeable manner.
• A passion and knowledge of Sonoma County wines and local food. 
• Able to stand for long periods of time, and lift over 40 lbs.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work weekends; Saturday & Sunday required.
