As a member of the Marketing team at St. Francis Winery, this position will be focused on increasing brand awareness, loyalty and sales through traditional and emerging marketing channels. The successful candidate will contribute to the winery’s national and consumer-direct marketing initiatives through a variety of marketing activities, including campaign coordination, web and graphic design, newsletter development, social media monitoring, print and online advertising and label and packaging design and coordination. Other responsibilities include supporting the desktop publishing needs of the Winery’s Visitor Center and Tasting Room through development of all in-house collateral and POS materials (i.e. flyers, posters, signage and menus).
This is a full time, non-exempt position working a standard workweek of Monday through Friday, primarily at the St. Francis Winery Visitor Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Collaborates on the design and execution of all POS pieces, press kits, tech cards, newsletters, direct mail, promotional materials, brochures, flyers, shipment collateral, email campaigns and website and Social Media content.
Helps maintain and edit winery website. Oversees maintenance of the quality, format and structure of all documents posted on the website. Coordinates the process of adding and updating website information.
Distributes press releases and posts events to media sites as well as to the winery website.
Assists with coordination of all wine label/packaging development and production activities. Coordinates with Bottling Department to deliver labels and other materials on a timely basis, relative to the bottling schedule.
Assists Sales team as needed with execution of quarterly promotions, including campaign tracking/analytics and customer database maintenance.
Serves as a primary resource for in-house graphic design and multimedia.
Performs related clerical and administrative functions.
Other specific duties and projects as required.
Fully supports the Winery’s policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS in design, marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent work experience
1-3 years related work experience
Wine industry experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to enthusiastically manage multiple and changing priorities
Knowledge of direct marketing and social media practices
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher
Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver
Strong knowledge of HTML
Familiarity with Sony Vegas Pro or other video editing software preferred
Ability to manage workflow, including proactively anticipating needs and addressing them as appropriate
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication and writing skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs
