Wine Steward Clerk (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Draeger's Supermarkets, Inc is seeking one Full-time Wine Steward Clerk at our San Mateo location and one Part-time at our Los Altos location who has a passion for fine wine and enthusiasm for customer service. Flexibility in scheduling, including early evenings and weekends, is a must.

Pay rate starts at $25/hr (Competitive hourly wage depending upon experience).

This position reports to the Wine Manager.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):

Greet each customer with friendly eye contact.
Provide excellent customer service
Reliable, punctual, and committed to customer service
Consult with customers and answer any wine inquiries
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about wine
Has strong communication skills
Likes people and likes to smile!
Is proactive, quick on their feet, organized and smart
Creates a fun work environment
Has a strong back for the physical needs that come with the position
