We are a rapidly growning distillery seeking a full time, all-around distillery hand to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be involved in every aspect of production from grain to glass.
Under the supervision of the Master Blender, this position will perform routine distillery duties.
Responsibilities & duties include, but are not limited to:
• Follow and observe all safe distillery practices
• Sanitation in all areas, including facility and equipment
• Responsible for set-up of equipment
• Barrel handling
• Liquid transfer, racking and blending
• Barrel operations, racking, filling and topping
• Filter operation
• Operate all distillery equipment
• Forklift operation
• Other duties as assigned by Production Manager or Master Blender.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Previous distillery, brewery or winery experience welcomed, but not required. Individual selected for this position must be reliable, possess a good work ethic, positive attitude and have the desire to develop skills to advance in the company. In addition, individuals in this position must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, work standing up and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time.
