About the Role
Vendemmia is a San Diego-based wine distribution company seeking an experienced grocery sales representative or broker to sell Teascato, an Italian sparkling wine and tea — semi-sweet, lightly sparkling, gluten-free, with no added sugar. Think of it as the ideal crossover product for shoppers who already love sparkling water, flavored beverages, and light refreshing drinks — approachable, versatile, and imported from Italy.
This is not a cold-calling role. We are looking specifically for someone who is currently calling on — or has recent direct experience selling to — these accounts in San Diego. If you already have buyer relationships in this channel and are open to adding a product to what you are already selling, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Represent and sell Teascato to buyers at Asian and Latino supermarkets and independent grocery stores across San Diego County. Leverage your existing buyer relationships to open accounts and secure shelf placement. Manage order communication and coordinate with Vendemmia on fulfillment. Build repeat business and grow volume within established accounts.
Who We Are Looking For
You currently call on or have recent experience selling to large Asian or Latino supermarkets and independent grocery stores in San Diego — this is a firm requirement. You have established buyer relationships you can activate right away. Brokers or independent reps who carry multiple lines and want to add another are strongly encouraged to apply. Bilingual candidates in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, or other relevant languages will have a strong advantage. Beverage alcohol experience is a plus but not required — product training provided.
Compensation
Commission on sales. Independent Contractor (1099). Flexible hours — designed to add to an existing grocery route. No ceiling on commissions.
