Our Tasting Room + Restaurant at Family Owned Winery is a playful eatery and wine bar, drawing inspiration from an aspiring post-war Italy, where street cafes were brimming with life and passion. This bright eatery, where vintage style meets contemporary spirit, sits apart from the rest with its simple sophistication and old-fashioned character. Set against a black and white interior that evokes the spirit of 1950’s Italy. A classic OSTERIA in the heart of San Carlos that offers a dynamic environment for dining and wine tastings. A social hub amongst locals, and a premier venue for celebratory group gatherings in the SF Bay Area. Featuring indoor/outdoor seating for 100 with an open kitchen and 37 ft. Centrally located between San Francisco and Silicon Valley, this venue is the perfect destination for anyone in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the overall success and profitability of the department and management of all department staff
  • Work closely with upper management to implement customer service policies and hire employees who reflect company values
  • Oversee smooth operations during service by assigning Servers to tables and assisting FOH staff
  • Responsible for adhering to budgets, placing orders for products and supplies or helping Servers complete their job duties during understaffed shifts
  • No gossiping, complaining, shaming or blaming Honest, trustworthy

This position demands creativity daily, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to maintain the highest level of standards.

The Restaurant Tasting Room Manager must work well under pressure, is organized, detail oriented, flexible, self-motivated, reliable, and willing to work long hours.
