Wine Club Manager / Tasting Room Manager

Scribner Bend Vineyards is a family-owned winery in the Sacramento Delta known for its beautiful vineyard setting, exceptional wines, weddings, and special events. We are seeking an experienced Wine Club Manager / Tasting Room Manager to lead our tasting room operations and manage and grow our wine club program.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who loves wine, hospitality, sales, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Tasting Room Management
- Oversee daily tasting room operations and ensure exceptional guest service
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate tasting room staff
- Maintain high standards for hospitality, wine knowledge, cleanliness, and service
- Monitor sales, reservations, inventory, and daily operations
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally
- Lead by example in wine sales and wine club conversions
Wine Club Management
- Manage all aspects of the wine club, including sign-ups, releases, member communications, and events
- Develop strategies to increase wine club membership and retention
- Train staff on effective wine club sales techniques
- Build strong relationships with wine club members
- Coordinate wine club shipments and pickups
- Maintain accurate member records and identify opportunities to increase wine club sales
Sales & Guest Experience
- Train staff to educate guests and make personalized wine recommendations
- Track sales and identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Help promote winery events, weddings, and other offerings
- Create a welcoming experience that encourages guests to return and recommend Scribner Bend
Qualifications
- Previous experience in wine hospitality, tasting room management, wine club, restaurant management, or a comparable hospitality leadership role
- Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Wine knowledge and enthusiasm for learning more about wine
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Positive, professional attitude and strong leadership skills
- Must be available to work weekends and select winery events
WSET, CSW, or other wine education is a plus, but not required.
