Due to our growing success in our winery, we are adding another team member to our Marketing team! This position is focused on supporting both DTC and Marketing with Social Media updates, digital creation and producing print/digital advertisement. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the ability to tell a completing story in order to inspire guests to visit or purchase, have strong technical skills to easily create and execute marketing collateral, be creative with a laser focus on how to achieve business results.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Work with Director of Marketing to support Marketing strategy to drive qualified traffic to the winery.
• Serves as a copywriter for the winery and will help guide the social media strategy for winery websites, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts.
• Oversee digital asset creation to support email blasts, web updates and direct marketing efforts
• Responsible for on-site and event photography and video production
• Assist in designing and producing print and digital advertisements
• Assists with deadlines and project management/trafficking of digital and print creative assets
• Connects with various media channels and wine influencers to consistently position our brand names positively on a regional, state and national level
• Maintains tech sheets, bottle shots, labels, press kits and media library.
• Oversees wine submissions and maintains wine awards database.
• Assists with the production and printing of marketing collateral, signage and communications for tasting room and special events.
• Documents company policies and procedures to support the marketing department
• Represents winery at external consumer tastings
• All other duties/tasks as needed and assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree (concentration in Journalism, Sales, Marketing)
• Previous online and offline marketing experience for consumer related products.
• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how best to use each platform effectively.
• Experience generating reports from Google Analytics and interpreting metrics for others.
• Possesses excellent writing and language skills.
• Enjoys a working knowledge of content creation relevant to wine, food or travel.- a great story teller
• Experience with DSLR photo/video shooting and editing.
• Effective at creating compelling photo and video content.
• Practices exceptional time management skills and is a multi-tasker.
• Is detail oriented, highly organized and accurate.
• Has a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Self-confident, self-directed and able to achieve results.
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Familiarity with YouTube, Facebook Ads, IGTV, WordPress and Google Analytics
