Today, Scout & Cellar products are sold almost exclusively online and through our network of our 15,000 independent consultants. Our National Sales Manager will be the architect of and execute the expansion of Scout & Cellar wines in the wholesale market. Specifically, the National Sales Manager will define and lead on and off premise sales strategy, including the national account sales strategy, to ensure that Scout & Cellar profitably expands distribution, gains chain activity, improves in-store execution and increases merchandising presence. The National Sales Manager must have experience fostering key account management relationships to secure new distribution and chain activity. In addition, this role requires a strong leader that listens and collaborates, while relying on analytical skills and insight to influence others.

Here’s what you’ll do:
•  Refine and execute the go-to market strategy for our retail business on and off premise.
•  Lead sell-in of the Scout Wild brand across the National and Regional wholesale market.
•  Manage the day to day execution of our distributors behind the Scout Wild brand.
•  Be responsible for hitting monthly sales numbers across revenue and profit.
•  Provide competitor analysis to keep us strategically a step ahead of competitors.
•  Present monthly sales reports and provide feedback to the leadership team.
•  Be a strong leader at Scout & Cellar that coaches, inspires and makes this a place people love to work.
•  Role will require extensive travel selling in new business, meeting with current retail partners and doing market tours to assess in market execution.

Here’s what you must bring to the table:
•  Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, Master’s degree preferred.
•  Minimum of 5 years experience working in a selling role with a liquor distributor.
•  Minimum of 5 years experience working for a winery, wine brand, or in the wine industry.
•  In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods.
•  Strong working knowledge of the wine and alcohol industry across retailers, distributors and consumers.
•  Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
•  Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
•  Lots and lots of hustle, grit and desire to win
