Our Wine Import and Distribution Company based in NC is seeking dynamic individuals to join our energized account representative team. Offering a competitive compensation and eligibility for benefits. This specific role will focus on off- and on-premise product sales & event support in the Triangle and surrounding areas. This territory already has a strong foundation of accounts, with the potential for continued rapid growth.

We already have a strong footprint in the major metropolitan areas of North Carolina and are expanding deeper into each part of the state.

Job Summary:

As a Regional Wine Ambassador, you are responsible for selling and promoting our exclusive wine portfolio to wine stores, restaurants, catering companies, private clubs, and other authorized establishments within the designated sales territory. While providing an exceptional customer service experience and creating strong relationships with on and off premise partners, your income is only limited by your ability to drive sales and grow your territory. Through the use of excellent sales skills & customer service, you will build trust and reliability with customers, advising them on Queen of Wines' portfolio based on their needs/wants, planning for & assisting with wine related events with them, and further establishing Queen of Wines’ relevance in their product assortment.

We have a group of Portfolio Experts available to help you further establish the Queen of Wines reputation, and leverage the exclusivity of the brands we are bringing to the market. Being the sole importer and distributor in the whole country for quite a few of these brands, the wine selection you represent has a real edge, standing out from the competition, and making us the primary partner for many of our clients.

Job Duties:

- Display in-depth knowledge of the Queen Of Wines portfolio, to provide customers with accurate recommendations to fulfill their needs and wants.

- Prepare customized wine selections and tasting notes for appointments with customers through the use of our sales application.

- Attain monthly incentives, sales volume, and distribution goals.

- Grow business in multi-level accounts selling a diverse product portfolio.

- Effectively manage and maximize customer potentials in assigned territory.

- Submit precise and timely orders for customers to allow for a smooth delivery process by our delivery team.

- Ensure timely and efficient follow up communication with customers utilizing our CRM tools.

- Create and deliver wine portfolio presentations in a professional and effective manner for client education, staff trainings, events & more.

- Develop activities to promote sales such as educational & entertaining wine events with key accounts.

- Provide value-added services to maximize sales and customer relationship, such as customized menus, sales sheets, and flyers for events in conjunction with our in-house marketing team.

- Provide feedback to Management on a regular basis within our CRM and further contribute by being a team player.

- Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations.

Job Requirements:

- Wine knowledge is paramount (WSET, Sommelier, or other hospitality industry certification preferred). Must be able to work flexible work schedule, including occasional evenings during the week or on weekends. At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the Hospitality and Wine & Beverage Industries.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and engaging attitude. Desire to develop sales skills and knowledge of product and services. Value collaboration and acting as a team player.

- Ability to use technology applicable to the position and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities, including Microsoft office (outlook, word, excel, power point), Dropbox, Salesforce, Encompass and other related windows or IOS based sales tools.

- Must be 21 years old and must qualify for an ABC Wholesale Salesmen permit. Driver’s license and clean driving record required. Must have personal vehicle for transportation in the field.

- Able to lift a minimum of 20lbs

- A guaranteed base will be offered for the first 3 months to help our Regional Wine Ambassador get started and established in their territory. This territory already has an established base.

- A monthly stipend compensates for daily expenses linked to the position.

This territory already has a strong foundation of accounts, with the potential for continued rapid growth. It is expected that a candidate in this function can easily grow this territory to a point of compensation between $75k and $95K per year.
