DRINK PLG Wine & Spirits (www.drinkplg.com) is a well established retail wine and spirits store in Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn. We are seeking an experienced General Manager / Buyer to run day to day operations.

IMPORTANT: The successful candidate must have at least 3+ years of wine and spirits retail off-premise experience as a GM/Buyer, or will not be considered for the position. Competitive salary and performance bonuses available. 

The GM/Buyer will take the reins of an efficiently run business with a well established customer base, best practice systems and operations, and will manage our team of sales associates. We are looking for someone who's passionate about wine and spirits, who thrives on team leadership and creating collaborative and energetic work environments.

Salary: $65-$75K

Job Type: Full-time

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift / 40-50 hour week

Weekly day range:

  • 5 days a week. Must be available on weekends.

  • Brooklyn, NY 11225: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • GM/Buyer Wine Retail: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • WSET Certification (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Afternoons and evenings
