Chateau Margene is currently seeking a part-time employee for their 2nd tasting room located on the Embarcadero in Morro Bay. We are seeking people with exceptional customer service and sales skills. Previous tasting room experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests and explain who we are and what we offer
• Describe our wines, our wine-making techniques, winery story
• Explain and assist people in buying our wines
• Sell wine club memberships
• Washing and polishing glassware
• Operate cash registers / POS System
• Restock wines
• Clean the tasting room, as needed.
Qualifications:
• Passion for wine, wine knowledge and willingness to learn more
• Tasting Room and POS experience required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Professional attitude and a strong work ethic
• Self-motivated, multi-tasker
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid CA driver’s license
$14-$16 per hour, plus wine club membership bonus
