Le Vigne Winery is seeking a hospitality-focused Assistant Tasting Room Manager to help lead our team and create memorable experiences for our guests.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, values attention to detail, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for both guests and team members. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines hospitality, sales, team support, and daily operations.

Le Vigne Winery is an award-winning Paso Robles winery known for handcrafted wines, artisan cheese pairings, and genuine hospitality. Our tasting room and restaurant provide guests with a relaxed and elevated wine country experience built around great wine, thoughtful food pairings, and personal service.
Schedule
Full-time position with a regular schedule of Wednesday-Sunday (some room for flexibility).
Weekend availability is required.
Our tasting room kitchen is open Saturdays and Sundays, making guest service and floor leadership especially important during peak visitation periods.
Position Summary
The Assistant Tasting Room Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the tasting room while helping drive wine and food sales, wine club growth, team development, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Hospitality & Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and personalized wine education
- Lead wine tastings and wine-and-cheese pairing experiences
- Ensure every guest feels welcomed and appreciated
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and thoughtfully
- Uphold Le Vigne's standards of hospitality and service
Team Leadership
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training tasting room staff
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
- Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and strong guest service
- Serve as Manager on Duty when needed
Sales & Wine Club Growth
- Drive tasting room wine sales and wine club memberships
- Support staff development in guest engagement and sales techniques
- Help identify opportunities to improve sales, retention, and guest satisfaction
Operations
- Assist with scheduling and labor management
- Manage inventory and merchandising displays
- Maintain tasting room appearance and cleanliness
- Support POS operations, reporting, and cash handling procedures
- Ensure consistent attention to detail throughout the guest experience
Restaurant & Events Support
- Assist with tasting room restaurant operations on weekends
- Help coordinate seamless service between tasting room and restaurant teams
- Support winery events, wine club events, and member experiences as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hospitality, tasting room, restaurant, hotel, or customer service leadership experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability and team-focused mindset
- Passion for wine, food, and hospitality
- Ability to remain organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and remain on your feet throughout a shift
- Capacity to handle the service of multiple tables and tasks
- Ability to accurately handle money including opening and closing registers
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous tasting room supervisory experience
- Restaurant leadership experience
- Restaurant service experience or wine education/ certification
Compensation & Benefits
$25–$28 per hour (Depending on Experience)
