SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

We are a small, rapidy growing company who offers an excellent opportuniy in the world of Wine and Spirits that is fast-paced, competitive, and productive.  You will be responsible for multiple accounts to showcase your ability to prepare and deliver presentation on the products, manage client invetory level, ensure preferred brand visibility and obtain payments from accounts.  You will be responsible for maximizing the sales of brands through effective territory planning, sales, merchandising and communication to enable the acheivement of the company.

POSITION REQUIREMNETS

  • stragetises on how to best achieve sales and merchandising by understanding and studying company pricing and product information and opertions/pricing of competitions on a monthly basis, as well as maintaining accurate account purchases information.
  • Calls on accounts and covers daily routes by creating an efficient routing pattern
  • analyzes entire account base visiting each account and identifying and establishing oportunities and ensure account compliance
  • obtains payments for company; delivers checks or other remittance from accounts
  • manages customer account receivables by timely processing of credits and returns and communicating with accounts on aged receivables
  • service accounts by delivering product to customers in extenuating circumstances, handling customer issues and complaints and referring these issues to management
  • maintains professional and industry knowledge
  • maintains cusomer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • know customer key personnel and maintain good rapport
  • strive to book ads and feature promotions
  • must be physically able to lift and move 45lbs cases of wine. Possible situations may include, lifting from a car trunk
  • keep all customers advised of sale trends, promotions, special pricing, etc.
  • other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • reach or exceed all sales goals for territory
  • maintian the highest rapport with customers
  • work closely with all comapny employees to maintain a high standard of service for our customers

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSES

  • High school or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experirence preferred
  • valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle preferred
  • ability to hold a Solicitor's Permit where required

EXPERIENCE

  • a minimum of one (1) year in sales or industry related experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • an understanding of wine and spirits preferred
  • individuals with strong verbal/written communication skills and strong customer service orientation
  • ability to multi-task, work independently within a team, pays attention to detail and meets deadlines
