THE ROLE
We are seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial Portfolio Manager, based in our Florida office, who will manage a select portfolio of wines. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for achieving sales growth by building lasting and supportive business relationships with suppliers, distributors, and the company's sales team responsible for sales in the Caribbean.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Caribbean sales team to ensure they meet or exceed annual sales goals
• Analyze industry trends and develop strategic plans to capitalize on growth opportunities
• Conceptualize and implement marketing programs within allocated budgets
• Analyze sales data and other statistics to support the sales department
• Prepare and monitor fiscal forecasts
• Facilitate and participate in brand training/educational sessions throughout the Caribbean
• Represent the company in industry organizations and events
• Work closely with suppliers, keeping them updated on developments with their brands
REQUIREMENTS
• Sales and marketing experience in consumer products, preferably in food and beverages
• Bachelors degree with a focus on Marketing or International Business
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently
• Energetic and self-motivated with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
• Ability to inspire and support a team to achieve set goals
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to think strategically as well as execute the details of specific sales initiatives
• Strong analytical and computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
• Industry experience and knowledge of domestic and international trends
• Fluency in Spanish and/or French is preferred
