Operating all over the United States, with its main office in New York City, Vranken-Pommery America imports exclusively the mother company’s portfolio including internationally recognized Champagne brands Pommery, Vranken, and Heidsieck & Co Monopole and Rosé wines from Camargue, Domaine Royal de Jarras, and from Provence, Château La Gordonne. Vranken-Pommery America is also positioned as a prime importer of premium port wines, with its brands Rozes and Sao Pedro.


The role


The Off-Premise Sales Representative position with Vranken-Pommery America, based out of New York City, offers you the opportunity to assume ownership of our brands in the NY Metro territory with tremendous growth potential. You will be responsible for the development and success of the Vranken-Pommery America’s entire brand portfolio.


Essential duties

-        Sell the Vranken-Pommery America portfolio of brands to off-premise accounts throughout the assigned territory.

-        Cultivate existing working relationships with our established key accounts.

-        Prospect, present to and close sales for new accounts.

-        Develop extensive knowledge of our portfolio and market.

-        Develop programming including tastings, events, etc.

-        Provide the highest level of customer service.

-        Stay current with industry trends.

-        Attend team meetings and provide weekly reports and accomplishment recap to the Director of Sales.

-        Properly manage sales budgets and travel & entertainment expenses.

Job requirements

-        Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 5 years’ minimum experience in the wine industry in the United States.

-        Excellent wine knowledge

-        Must be well organized with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

-        Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong and effective working relationships quickly.

-        Must have excellent organization and time management skills.

-        Must possess a valid driver’s license.

-        Must be able to lift up to 40lbs (office material, wine boxes...)

This is an outside exempt full-time position, based out of our New York City office.

Compensation: Base Salary, Commission, Bonus and Health Insurance - $60,000 - $100,000
