We’re excited to announce that 2021 is our 50th Anniversary as the First winery in the Chehalem Mountains. Also, we are transitioning into a Four Day work week for our Tasting Room Staff and we’ll be shifting back to 7 days a week in May. We’re ready to get back outside to our stunning patio space and show off the natural beauty of our vineyards. We can’t wait to welcome you to our Team!

Full Time
This position is seasonal/temporary with expected 32+ hours a week.
**Adelsheim will be transitioning into a Four Day work week for our Tasting Room Staff and will be shifting back to 7 days a week in May
***Full-Time non-seasonal roles are also eligible for 401k and Insurance benefits
· Four Day 10-hour Work Week and/or Five Day 8-hour Work Week
Compensation
· Beginning pay rate for all Tasting Room Lead roles is $17+ per hour plus tips, sales commission/bonus structure
W.E.P. (Wine Education Program)
o For each month with 8+ hours worked you receive $60 in WEP credit. The credits will continue to accrue until used.

Assistant Tasting Room Manager
Role Purpose
Responsible for management and execution of the established service standards. In addition, this role is tasked with coordination of daily service operations and event management. This role offers direct assistance to the Assistant Tasting Room Manager and is invested in the day-to-day functions of the Tasting Room.
Accountabilities
· Manages Tasting Room Staff assignments as well as flow of reservations and walk-in guests throughout the course of service
· Assists with booking, management, coordination, and execution of private events, winery events, as needed
· Able to provide a hospitality experience to VIPs, Trade, Media, and High Value Club members while representing the Adelsheim brand
· Able to speak to the history, vinicultural and viticultural practices of Adelsheim at the highest level
· In charge of requesting and maintaining appearance of all day-to-day hospitality materials (Marketing collateral, service supplies {linens, plates, glassware}) needed to execute established service via marketing or Tasting Room Leadership
· Ability to troubleshoot guest’s shipping, product, or hospitality issues and if issue cannot be solved, being sure to escalate the issues to the appropriate parties
· Assists in the Opening and Closing of the Tasting Room when present, taking care to confirm all accessible hospitality spaces are set and unset according to the highest possible standard
· Holding Tasting Room Staff accountable to the established standards of customer service
· Manages on-premise cash bank with accuracy and to the established SOP
· Absorbs operational responsibilities when necessary i.e. staff call outs, staff cuts, lower business levels, coverage for requests off/vacation
· Posses entry level administrative Point of Sale knowledge in order to assist and instruct line staff throughout the course of service
· Collaborate with TR Leadership team on methods to continually elevate onsite hospitality experience as well as brainstorming revenue generating opportunities
· Availability during the day, on Weekends and infrequently on evenings and holidays
· Awareness, implementation, and communication of all strategies, themes, and onsite experiences conceptualized by Executive Leadership for Guests and Club Members
· Assistance in development, implementation, and maintenance of service standards, and staff trainings
· Collaborate with Assistant Tasting Room Manager for staff onboarding
· Demonstrates leadership through consistency, accountability, accessibility, and enthusiasm for the brand and experience
· Reports on the team’s performance on an on-going basis to the Tasting Room Manager or Assistant Tasting Room Manager
· Fulfills weekly wine orders and delegates replenishment of fulfillment closet
· Ability to do all tasks of Tasting Room Line Staff

Certified Forklift Operator
Knowledge
Background in Hospitality and Sales Management
General Wine Knowledge and Wine Industry Knowledge
Competent in Microsoft Office suite
Working knowledge of POS software programs (Wine Direct Preferred)
Troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware needed for daily operations
High Degree of general computer literacy
Experience
Sales and Customer Service Oriented Background
Tasting Room experience
Restaurant or Hotel Experience preferred
High volume and High-pressure Retail and/or Hospitality Environments
Wine Retail or Education
Required Availability
· Weekends a must
· Infrequent nights
· Flexible schedule via a Four-day 10 hour-format
