Panebianco Wines Imports is a remarkable importer and distributor of fine Italian wine in NY and NJ Sates with a dozen of third parties Distributors in the US. We have represented for the past 23 years a distinguished portfolio of Families/Brands from Italy. Panebianco Wines Import is looking for a professional, hardworking, self-motivated, energetic sales representative that has passion for Italy & Italian wine.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience working in the wine industry as a wholesale sales representative with familiarity of both on and off premise accounts in New York City
• Comprehensive knowledge of fine wine, with special enthusiasm for Italian wine.
• As second language preferably Italian.
• Goal oriented and self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail and high personal standards of performance.
• Excellent customer service, time management and organization skills
• Ability to make professional presentations using industry tools and terms
• Individuals must possess strong sales skills and excellent verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Internet.
Requisites:
- The Sales Representative is responsible for the increase of territory sales by developing existing customers and opening new on and off premise trade accounts.
- Ability to adapt to market changes.
- Ability to work some evenings
- The Sales Representative is responsible to introduce new products, conduct staff-training seminars, and regularly work in-store tastings. Sales Rep is also responsible to follow up on invoicing, deliveries, and collections
- Individual must have the physical ability to lift a case of wine
