AQUAGRILL, NYC's top seafood restaurant is hiring a very special management professional! This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced floor manager with strong wine knowledge and the ability to maintain an award winning wine program. We want you to join our team!
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain wine list and wine by the glass program
- Schedule vendor tastings for selection of new wines
- Write new wine descriptions and educate staff
- Order all alcohol
- Superve set up and service, handle patron satisfaction and staff performance
- Cashing out shifts
- Help to hire, train and maintain company protocols for all front of house staff
- Wine Inventory management
- Maintain health code compliance and safety standards
This full time position is comprised of a 5 day work week, with a combination of lunch and dinner shifts, primarily evenings. Room for advancement, benefits available including paid time off and company contributions towards health insurance. Prior experience must include both server and management, plus a love for the details of fine service, sommelier certificate and refined customer service. Must be fully available including weekends.
