Job Description:
A dynamic, specialty wine and spirits shop in downtown Manhattan is looking for a full-time sales associate to join our team.
We are looking for a passionate individual with experience in the wine industry (retail/restaurant). Applicant must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking. Our shop has the the largest selection of grower Champagne on the East Coast, an extensive Burgundy and Bordeaux library, as well as classic and new discoveries from around the world.
As a team member, you will have many opportunities to sample and take part in the decision making process of selecting the wines for the shop. We offer a generous discount for our employees so that they may enjoy, and expand their knowledge.
Qualifications:
– Knowledge of fine wine/wine regions/varieties
– WSET or Sommelier certification required
– Team player
- Detail oriented
– Excellent customer service skills
– Clear communications skills (written/verbal)
– Ability to multi task
Requirements:
– Be able to work Evenings, Weekends and Holidays
