Requirements:
•  3+ years of experience in fine wine sales, including familiarity with the market and key accounts (On and/or Off Premise)
•  Able to work independently, as well as be a team player
•  Highly organized, and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and “get stuff done”
•  Excellent communication, negotiation and objection handling skills
•  Broad knowledge of fine wine a must. WSET Level 2 or equivalent is a plus
•  Must be computer proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, word, PPT)
•  Valid Driver’s License
•  Willing to travel within Metro NY + occasional educational trips to Napa
•  Passion for wine (Special consideration if fine wine is your vice)

Job Description:

•  Effectively plan on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis in relation to achieving applicable sales goals
•  Communicate with the distributor’s sales representatives & management and participate in sales calls
•  Build, manage and grow key accounts list
•  Provide market intelligence to the distributor’s Sales Director
•  Participate in trade and in-store tasting events. Manage Brand Ambassadors tastings with account managers and retailers
•  Execute regional promotion plans per approved budgets
•  Manage product launches: pricing, inventory, execution strategy, and tracking
•  Manage budgets and expenses per plan
•  Submit all reports in a timely manner: expenses, sales/depletion reports, and projections
•  60% field work, 20% work with distributor in field, 20% administrative

Full time commitment, make your own schedule. Must be available some evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
