Numerous entry level Sales Representative positions open for premium wine distributor in the State of New Jersey:


Position overview:
The distributor Sales Representative will present wines and spirits to retail and restaurant accounts in an assigned territory for sale. They will promote brands in store through effective account management of pricing, shelf positioning, displays and cold box placements. In restaurants through effective account management of wine by the glass, cocktail features, wine list placements, etc…They will also be responsible for prospecting and selling unsold restaurant accounts.

Key responsibilities:
•  Achieve sales targets consistently in territory
•  Must be passionate about forming and growing relationships
•  The ability to make effective presentations on products to customers and close the sale
•  Help support accounts on having product sell thru. We are not looking for order takers. Must be willing to go the extra mile and work product in accounts thru handling product positioning and improving how our products look in accounts
•  Weekly in store tastings for customers to help move product thru
•  Must be able to handle administrative and customer service responsibilities

Qualifications:
•  Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•  Prior wine and spirits experience preferred
•  Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills
•  Good mathematical skills preferred
•  Must be able to lift 40 pounds
•  Must have a valid Driver’s License with proper Insurance levels per Collective Bargaining Agreement

•  Proficient in basic computer skills

Compensation Package
•  100% commission based (monthly established draw)
