City Winery Nashville is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our Winemaking team as the full-time, Cellar Assistant.
We are an urban winery located in the heart of Nashville, TN, crafting quality wines from 25-40 tons of hand-picked grapes from high-end vineyard sources within Napa/ Sonoma/ Willamette Valley, and Washington State.
The cellar assistant will assist the winemaker with day-to-day winemaking activities including but not limited to: cleaning, racking, topping & stacking barrels, basic lab analysis, filtration setup, bottling, labeling and wine tasting.

Requirements:
Enology/viticulture degree and/or related production wine cellar experience REQUIRED.
Confidence in forklift operating (Forklift certification will be provided by the company if needed)
6 days per week during harvest, day off may be on a weekday.
Must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, as well as be able to bend and lift on the job.
Must be able to work long hours while maintaining a positive attitude and staying on task.
Experience with WMDB and lab protocols will be a plus.
This position is a great opportunity to get a unique experience in small lot production, working with top quality crop

Competitive salary plus benefits after 90 days.
Starting date in mid to end Feb 2018, however, we can wait until March for the right candidate if needed.
