Reports to: Operations Leader
Compensation: $18/hour
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position serves as the foundation for wine and art and design fulfillments for the company. Direct to consumer wine, wholesale wine, and art and design fulfillment, processing of shipments, and resolution of client/partner issues will be overseen by the Operations Coordinator. She/he will be responsible for managing multiple inventory warehouses, business and compliance systems. Strong organizational, record-keeping skills and the capacity to understand and manage orders using a variety of technology based systems is essential. The Operations Coordinator will seek to constantly increase the company’s efficiency in fulfillment management and consistently communicating these best practices to the company’s internal team.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Management/Fulfillment
• Collaborate with The Company’s sales team members on optimization of inventory by location, with the goal of minimizing out of stock scenarios or order delays.
• Process and fulfill all direct to consumer and wholesale wine orders and record all sales and tracking information in The Company’s CRM.
• Complete labeling projects as needed for wholesale wine orders.
• Process and fulfill all applicable art and design shipping opportunities and record all tracking information in The Company’s CRM system.
• Assist with daily art and design operations responsibilities, as needed.
• Perform and record monthly/annual inventories at multiple warehouse locations.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-3 years fulfillment/warehouse experience.
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, GSO, and third party logistics.
• Familiarity with computerized inventory and fulfillment programs.
PERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Energetic, accountable, and team oriented.
• Reliable, dependable, and responsible.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong attention to service detail.
• Clear ability to multi task numerous projects at one time.
• Valid CA Driver’s license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed
