Chimney Rock Winery is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our team as Event Coordinator. Reporting to the Sr. Events Manager, the Event Coordinator will provide hands-on day-to-day coordination of on-site sales and event hosting for all revenue-producing business-to-business events, as well as assistance with a variety of marketing events (Wine Club events, Trade events, Hospitality events, and internal meetings/events). This is an exciting opportunity to represent one of the premier wineries in Napa Valley's Stags Leap District!
Position Responsibilities:
• Conduct tours, tastings and private events in a professional and informative manner, presenting a compelling story of the Terlato family, winery and wine portfolio that results in fans of our winery, new wine sales and wine club memberships.
• Deliver beyond-expectation customer service experience.
• Serve as the face of events; support and schedule Special Events Staff, to include servers, assistants and contractors/vendors, ensuring that each is a reflection of our brand standard.
• Secure all event deliverables: vendors, and materials necessary to produce the Event, to include Catering, Floral, Entertainment, Rentals, Delivery, Setup/Breakdown, etc.
• Maintain general event and catering supplies and inventory.
• Support achievement of department budget, sales goals, and projections and provide monthly budget analysis reports to management.
• Develop and actively manage vendor relationships to ensure best available resources within defined budget.
• Make follow up calls, send survey emails, and thank you notes after each event.
• Assist in new Program Development and execution of ideas, including informing and/or educating all staff on new programs being implemented.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Assistance with Wine Club events (release receptions, harvest dinner, blending event, etc.)
• Special projects as requested (i.e. In-House events such as Harvest and Holiday Dinners).
• Attending Association, Concierge, and Networking Meetings as the winery representative.
Performance Measures:
• Events measured by achievement of objectives (revenue and profit goals)
• Comply with internal business practices, to include accounting and recordkeeping

• Customer service satisfaction (internal and external)
Professional Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (at least 3 years in a similar position)
• Relationship management experience highly desired
• Advanced PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
• Proficiency in Caterease Event Planning software a plus
